Tashi Garg is a seasoned UI Architect based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with over 15 years of experience in designing and developing innovative user interfaces across diverse technology ecosystems. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Juniper Networks since December 2019, Tashi has established herself as a leader in front-end architecture and user experience design.
Tashi's expertise spans the full spectrum of modern web technologies, including React, Python, HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and D3. His proficiency extends to advanced charting libraries like Highcharts, along with comprehensive knowledge of backend technologies including REST APIs, databases, and cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Elasticsearch. This versatile skill set enables her to bridge the gap between design and implementation effectively.
At Juniper Networks, Tashi has been instrumental in designing architectural frameworks for the MIST UI, leading UI teams, and creating interactive dashboards using AI and Natural Language Processing. Her work focuses on developing pixel-perfect responsive user interfaces while ensuring optimal performance and user experience. She has also been actively involved in exploring areas of innovation, including Dynamic Dashboards and RASA AI Integration.
Prior to her current role, Tashi spent six years at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer Lead, where she collaborated with designers to create rich interfaces and intuitive user experiences. Her work included core development of VOD applications and games for Set Top Boxes, as well as front-end design implementation with maximum performance optimization.
Tashi's technical foundation was built during her early career at ITC Infotech, where she developed Java GUI applications using JFC/Swing and implemented detailed interface designs. She holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco Bay University (2023-2025) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation from the Institute of Engineering & Technology (2002-2006).
As an innovator in the field, Tashi holds three patents related to network security and automation, including role-based access control autogeneration and topology-based graphical user interfaces for network management systems. Her passion for UI innovation and dedication to advancing front-end architecture continues to drive her contributions to the technology industry.
